History Curriculum Statement
Our history curriculum aims to provide children with the opportunity to be historians through enquiry and making connections between different time periods. We aspire to engage our pupils in learning about the past and increase their curiosity to how these significant events and people have impacted society today. Our curriculum will equip the children with the knowledge and skills to ask perspective questions, think critically, weigh evidence and develop their own perspective. Children will develop their knowledge of world history as well as local history, allowing children to understand the process of change and the diversity of societies.
